Who’s behind Food Coma
I’m Lucrezia, I’m 34, and I was born and raised in Fabrica di Roma, a small town in the heart of the Tuscia region. It’s where I grew up surrounded by my family, and where my grandparents passed down to me their love for simple things — homemade food, patience, and the joy of sharing life around a table.
Just a few kilometers away lies Civita Castellana, my father’s hometown — and today, the place where I’ve built my own nest. It’s where the Food Coma apartment is located, and where I welcome guests who want to discover the real Tuscia.
I’ve spent years traveling and living abroad, exploring the world, learning from different cultures and flavors. But the more I traveled, the more I understood that what I was looking for was already here — in this land of olive trees, volcanic hills, and kind people.
After years working in sales and as an entrepreneur, I felt the need to create something truly mine — something that brought together everything I love: travel, food, and human connection.
That’s how Food Coma Tuscia was born — from a deep desire to share my roots, my kitchen, and the beauty of this region through authentic experiences: pasta-making classes, countryside picnics, local tastings, and slow momentsthat make you feel part of this place.
When you come here, I’ll be your host and your guide — helping you experience the Tuscia not as a tourist, but as a friend discovering a secret corner of Italy.
