Everything you might want to know

(and a bit more)

What is Food Coma?
Food Coma is more than a stay — it’s a local home and a way to experience the area like a friend, not a tourist. You’ll stay in a cozy space and join curated moments that connect you with real people, flavors, and traditions.

2. Where are you located?
We’re based in Civita Castellana, a hidden gem in the Tuscia region, about an hour north of Rome. Set between Umbria and Tuscany, this land feels like the real heart of Italy — where vineyards meet volcanic hills and life still follows the rhythm of the seasons.

From Rome or even Fiumicino Airport, it’s easy to get here: regular trains and local connections take you straight into town. The station on Via della Repubblica is just a 10-minute walk from our apartment on Via Vinciolino 1 — close enough to feel connected, yet surrounded by that quiet charm that makes you instantly slow down and breathe.

Here, every journey begins with the scent of espresso in the morning and ends around a table filled with stories, local wine, and laughter.

3. Who are these stays for?
For curious travelers, digital nomads, slow explorers, and anyone who loves authentic connections — whether you come alone, with a friend, or with your dog.

4. What’s included?
Depending on your chosen journey, you’ll find cozy accommodation, local meals, workshops, and experiences designed around your interests. Everything is flexible and personal.

5. Can I work remotely during my stay?
Absolutely. You’ll have a peaceful space, strong Wi-Fi, and a setting that inspires focus (and daydreams).

6. Do I need to speak Italian?
No worries — I’ll be there to help you connect with locals and translate when needed. You’ll pick up a few Italian words naturally along the way.

7. How do I book?
Just send me an email at foodcomatuscia@gmail.com — tell me when you’d like to come and what kind of experience you’re dreaming of. I’ll get back to you personally to help plan your stay.

8. Is Food Coma dog-friendly?
Yes! Dogs (and cuddles) are always welcome.

9. Can you help me plan day trips or experiences nearby?
Of course — I’ll share my favorite hidden spots, from ancient villages to the best local trattoria you won’t find on Google Maps.

10. What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, an open mind, and an appetite. The rest, you’ll find here.
